IMechE Engineering Training Solutions adds PCN Level 2 refresher training to its range of online training courses

A wide range of methods are now available to study online through IMechE Engineering Training Solutions, to support students preparing to be recertificated to PCN Level 2 or as a general refresher for their continuing professional development.For £50 per method for a limited time only, this course can save a potential two days of in-class time, where the student would otherwise be away from their work. This provides significant cost and time savings, including travel, accommodation and time off site for both the student and their organisation.
The refresher online training courses guide students through the various aspects of their method of choice, with eddy current, magnetic particle, penetrant, radiographic, ultrasonic and visual testing available along with accompanying assessments, to ensure all areas are fully understood before sitting the recertification examination.
The student forum is also available to all, allowing direct contact between students and trainers for any questions on the course.
Access is available for up to 30 days, with no limit on how many times the online assessments can be taken.
For those taking their examination with IMechE ETS, the company is also able to provide immediate feedback on the result if required, allowing students the opportunity to revisit any area before attempting another examination (subject to availability).
Free access to the refresher training course is also being offered to all students studying an initial Level 2 course in the above methods directly with the company.

From the successful launch of online PCN Level 3 Basic, IMechE ETS has now launched PCN Level 3 Main Method in ultrasonic testing and radiography, with the remaining methods (MT, PT, ET and VT) to be launched this autumn, providing a comprehensive and accessible route to obtaining PCN Level 3 certification.
