New diagnostic system from IFM

22/10/2025

IFM, an industrial automation company, has announced its latest product, the VSE9xx diagnostic system. The new system is designed to bring vibration diagnostics direct to the field, helping to change the way industries monitor and maintain machine health for greater efficiency and reducing costly downtime.

The VSE9xx, with its IP67-rated housing, is built for demanding environments and does not require the installation of a control tower.

As a result, the system can deliver accurate real-time evaluations of up to four dynamic signals, such as acceleration, whilst capturing critical additional data such as speed and temperature, resulting in a more comprehensive view of machine health so that businesses can act proactively, maintain operational continuity and reduce any risks of unexpected failure.

The VSE9xx diagnostic system is compatible with all standard acceleration sensors and can connect using industry-standard M12 connection cables.

This enables error-free installation while safeguarding against any harsh external conditions. It also supports retrofitting, making it ideal for integrating advanced condition monitoring capabilities into existing installations, saving time, space and budget.

The VSE9xx bridges the gap between automation and IT networks with integrated separation, thereby improving data security and communication reliability.

The system can translate decentralised diagnostics into actionable data for operators and decision-makers, helping to create more innovative strategies for predictive maintenance and operational efficiency at scale.
