Ashtead invests in dedicated iPEK service centre
27/09/2018
Ashtead Technology’s recent move to new, larger, modern facilities has enabled the development of a dedicated service/repair centre for the iPEK range of pipeline inspection equipment.
“In addition to investments in infrastructure, spares and consumables, our staff have also attended manufacturer training sessions. For example, James Huff recently attended the ‘Rovion – Black Belt’ and ‘ATEX Service Training’ courses in Germany and, as a result, he is now our lead iPEK repairer.
“Typical service work includes reel re-termination and camera connector replacement, as well as normal test, repair and maintenance work. In addition, our rental fleet includes replacement cameras that can help minimise downtime.”
