Trainee graduates with distinction in NDT foundation degree

AWL Inspection & NDT Services employee Cameron Thomas has graduated with a distinction in his foundation degree in non-destructive testing. Cameron joined AWL in 2013, a decade after his grandfather Harry Thomas began employment with the company.

At just 18 years of age, Cameron joined AWL Inspection whilst his grandfather Harry was still in full-time employment and, although he is now retired, Harry still helps out regularly in the company.

Cameron joined as a trainee with no experience or qualifications in NDT, but in a short space of time has gained numerous qualifications and a wealth of experience, the latest being his foundation degree. It is safe to say that he is certainly following in his grandfather’s footsteps!

Established in 1987, AWL offers in-depth knowledge, expertise and experience in inspection and non-destructive testing services, including radiography, ultrasonics, liquid penetrant inspection (LPI), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), welding inspection, positive material identification (PMI), phased array and visual inspection.

All at AWL Inspection congratulate Cameron on his accomplishment and wish him every success in his career and thank Harry for his continued support both to Cameron and the company.
