UV lamp from Chemetall
19/09/2018
The surface treatment global business unit of BASF’s Coatings Division, operating under the Chemetall brand, has introduced its new smart UVee™ lamp. The new processor-controlled and programmable smart UV lamps are compliant with Rolls-Royce RRES 90061, Airbus and AMS 3022-15 and feature a nine-hour continuous-use battery, extremely stable luminous output levels and an instantaneous stabilisation time.
The new smart lamps contain reprogrammable embedded microcontrollers, which monitor and control usage, input and temperature. These embedded microcontrollers can be easily reprogrammed and made compliant should new specifications be set by regulatory bodies, avoiding the need to replace the lamps.
The smart lamps are sleek, light and come with a rigid carrying case, a charger, a rubber collar to protect the unit from damage, a manual, a certificate of conformance, a fully itemised output and wavelength measurement report and a two-year warranty.
