Lavender International: 10 years on with Investors in People

In February 1999, Lavender International was awarded its Plaque recognising its involvement in meeting the Investor in People standard. Last month the company completed 10 years of compliance.Steve Lavender, Co-Managing Director of the company said that he felt that the Investor in People process had completely transformed the company in the 1990s and the improvements in the way it has developed have been as a direct result of the Investor Programme.
The communication between all aspects of the staff has been one significant factor. How the organisation measures aspects of their programmes – such as bookings, exams, sales calls and personal development – have been additional benefits. "We look forward to continuing compliance in the coming 10 years," says Steve Lavender.
The company is in no doubt that by following Investors in People principles it has had a major positive effect on the development of Lavender International.
