Technology Design boosts profile in China

In June, Technology Design Ltd boosted its new profile in China by participating in the Jadeshine International Symposium of Advanced NDT Technology and Application, held at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The symposium was exclusive to suppliers and associates of the Jadeshine Engineering Company, a Beijing company that has shown impressive growth over the past five years and which has emerged as one of the most dynamic NDT service and equipment distributors in China.Particip
ants were invited from the USA, Germany, Japan, Israel and the United Kingdom to deliver presentations on a wide range of applications and equipment, including conventional and advanced ultrasonics, laser technologies, digital and conventional radiography, infrared thermal imaging, air-coupled ultrasonics, NDT technology integration, eddy current and endoscopy.The presentations were supported by equipment demonstrations with a strong bias towards proven applications. Technology Design presented its latest ultrasonic equipment: the TD Focus Scan, TD Handy Scan RX and the TD Pocket Scan PS45.
The format of the symposium brought together a broad spectrum of industry specialists and manufacturers that were able to guide visitors towards solutions for their application requirements and identify synergies between the participants, resulting in anything from simple low tech to complex multi-disciplined, multi-tiered solutions.
The success of the symposium was evident in the high percentage of invited visitors and interested parties that attended the event and their enthusiastic participation. In one of the world’s largest markets, where NDT has shown exponential growth, events like this serve not only to increase the profile of suppliers, but also to improve local knowledge and insight to the greater benefit of local manufacturing and quality industries.
