VisiConsult increases focus on NDT division, transferring VCsecurity business to Scanna in asset deal

With effect from 1 July 2024, VisiConsult’s VCsecurity business has been taken over by Scanna, a market leader in the field of portable security X-ray systems. Scanna has acquired all of the assets and rights associated with VisiConsult’s VCsecurity business, including the technology rights for the security sector. VisiConsult continues to focus on its particularly future-oriented and strong-growing business in the highly attractive market of industrial non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions and thus consistently bundle strengths and resources for this purpose.
In alignment with its corporate values, VisiConsult will support all current customers with services and honour any warranty obligations that may arise. Going forward, all new portable X-ray inspection systems for the public safety and security sector will be provided by Scanna. For the German market, new customers from counter-improvised explosive device (IED) operations, customs and border protection, prisons and counter surveillance can still approach VisiConsult and a good solution will then be provided in coordination with Scanna.
