04/12/2012

GE Measurement & Control held its first UK power industry-specific conference at the Woodside Hotel in Kenilworth recently. The conference brought together the complete range of Measurement & Control specialists for industrial plant healthcare, covering machine protection and diagnostics, early detection and warning of anomalies, as well as machine control and performance monitoring combined with the range of NDT technologies in its portfolio.

Attendance at the conference was free and as well as the range of presentations on offer the Measurement & Control team hosted an evening dinner for the delegates at the hotel, giving them the opportunity to review their own business needs with the GE experts in an informal atmosphere.

Mark Griffiths, Inspection Technologies Power Generation Key Account Manager in the UK and one of the principal organisers of the event, said: “We are really pleased with the attendance. It has been a great opportunity for delegates to see the bigger picture of GE Measurement & Control, the synergy between the smaller business groups and how the enhanced portfolio combines to give customers a full range of solutions for the healthcare of their plant. We will certainly be aiming to host similar events for other market segments going forward.”
