Sparrows Group rebrands to Altrad Sparrows

Sparrows Group (Sparrows), a maintenance and engineering specialist for the global energy and industrial sectors, has rebranded to Altrad Sparrows. The rebrand is a continuation of the acquisition of Sparrows by Altrad Group, but will not impact existing or future customers as the business continues to operate autonomously.
The acquisition by Altrad Group in 2022 has allowed Sparrows the opportunity to enhance its offering to customers in the industrial sector, while opening doors for Altrad in the Americas and the offshore wind sector through Sparrows company Alpha Wind Services.
Altrad Sparrows will continue to be led by Matt Corbin, Regional Director, Europe (including the UK), Adam Wood, Senior Vice President, Americas, Charlie Topp, Executive Director, Middle East, India, Caspian and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, and Dave Buckham, Regional Director, Africa.
Regional Director Matt Corbin said: “The acquisition was designed to be mutually beneficial to both companies and that has proven to be the case over the last 18 months. Sparrows, while moving to a more regionalised business model earlier this year, continues to offer our customers best-in-class services that are bolstered by the experience and expertise of the Altrad Group.

Executive Director Charlie Topp said: “The brand’s fresh look and feel, and adjustment to our company name, is a natural progression for both Sparrows and Altrad. Both hold a lot of weight in our respective sectors and bringing the two together will only continue to improve that.”
