Strainstall incorporates bridge strike monitoring on road bridge

As part of its partnership with Network Rail, Strainstall, part of BES Group, is implementing a bridge strike monitoring system on Grantham’s Harlaxton Road bridge, designed to deliver real-time alerts and instant video data following any bridge impact. This technology aims to significantly reduce disruption, maintain safety and help keep both the road and rail networks moving safely.Grantham’s Harlaxton Road bridge has gained notoriety in recent years for being the second most-struck railway bridge in Britain. This project reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure resilience and using innovative monitoring solutions to make roads safer and rail services more reliable.
