Lavender International composite inspection programmes

Further investment for Lavender International in its advanced ultrasonic training and examination programmes has resulted in the purchase of the Rapidscan equipment from Sonatest.The purchase of this equipment will provide Lavender International with a platform for developing a series of new advanced ultrasonic training programmes, with particular emphasis on composite inspection, delamination detection and thickness mapping.
Lavender consultants Andy Young and Paul Jones have spent time during the past 18 months on training and work experience looking at composite manufacture and employer inspection programmes.
Armed with this background information and the purchase of the new equipment they are well prepared to create a series of new programmes to compliment Lavender’s existing courses in advanced ultrasonics for time-of-flight diffraction and phased array.
