HVPD becomes Monitra
24/01/2024
HVPD, a developer of cutting-edge products for asset condition monitoring such as patented remote monitoring technology, has announced it is rebranding and will operate under the new name Monitra.
In recent years, the company believes it has become clear that customers benefit the most from an end-to-end solution, rather than standalone products and services.
The new name, Monitra, will better reflect the company but also remove barriers for the next growth phase. The company hopes to re-emphasise its innovation and collaboration, as well as push for the path to operational excellence.
The company provides more than just high-voltage partial discharge (PD) testing/monitoring and claims that Monitra is emblematic of the wider turnkey support it now provides customers.
At the centre of this change is the company’s condition data management platform, Atlas by Monitra. Robert Hvide Macleod, Chairman of Monitra, said: “Our commitment to research, development and comprehensive solutions remains strong, embodied by our condition data management platform Atlas by Monitra.”
Data is visualised on a concise dashboard, with clear recommendations supported by machine learning, facilitating failure prevention. The company has stated that information privacy and cyber security is underwritten by trusted third-party audit, ensuring the safety and availability of data.
The rebrand process has already begun; however, customers will still see HVPD-branded products and materials both online and in the field. The core offering is not going anywhere and neither is the company’s global team of PD experts, but as Monitra it aims to maximise the uptime of every high-voltage asset worldwide.
