Applus RTD commits itself further to North America with another acquisition

The Applus RTD Group, one of the world leaders in asset integrity services, has announced the acquisition of Valley Industrial X-Ray and Inspection Services Inc, headquartered in Bakersfield in California, USA.This operation, together with the acquisition of JanX (United States) in 2008, Technico (Canada) in 2009, and QIS (USA) and Staveley (Canada) in 2010, reinforces the company's commitment to the North American market, where it has been present for two decades with a large workforce.
The Applus RTD Group is strengthening its geographical position in the USA and Canada as well as in different application fields such as oil & gas, power plants, refineries, storage tanks and the petrochemical industry.
The head office for Applus RTD in the USA is in Houston; for Applus RTD Canada in Edmonton.
Non-destructive testing and inspection (NDT&I) is part of the full services approach which Applus RTD brings to the market as asset integrity services. The acquisitions of the two companies strengthen the position of Applus RTD in North America.
