New acquisitions for British Engineering Services Group

British Engineering Services Group (BES) has announced that it is welcoming two new businesses to the group: Strainstall UK and Mimic have both joined the group from James Fisher and Sons plc, a global provider of specialised services to the marine, energy and defence industries worldwide.
Strainstall UK is an onshore and offshore load and asset monitoring company, while Mimic provides intelligent condition and performance monitoring solutions, predominantly in the maritime sector. The skillset and product offering of both organisations is said to make them a great fit for BES Asset Reliability and will strengthen this important and growing part of the BES business.
Finding companies that share the customer-focused approach of BES and put safety above everything else continues to be important to the group and they are pleased to have done just that with Strainstall UK and Mimic. Together, the acquisitions will add around 80 experienced people to the BES team.
These acquisitions are the ninth and tenth businesses that have been added to the BES Group since 2019. The company has worked hard to ensure it is growing in a way that supports the needs of its customers, providing them with access to even more of the very best risk management solutions supplied by an enhanced team of highly skilled people.
