EM&I has announced a significant milestone in its journey: the establishment of a new base in Brazil. This expansion marks a pivotal moment for the company, unlocking fresh opportunities and reaffirming its commitment to excellence in asset integrity management services, focusing on research and development (R&D) and specialised repairs and maintenance for the floating offshore energy sector in Brazil and South America.
Centrally located in Macaé, Brazil, EM&I now has large and well-equipped technical facilities with overhead cranes, large water tanks and full-sized structures for testing, development and serving as a dedicated hub for operations, offering unwavering support to clients and partners.
These investments in local personnel and suppliers underscore the company’s confidence in Brazil and signify its commitment to delivering ODIN, NoMan and its advanced services with increasingly localised resources. Excitement abounds for the possibilities this expansion brings and the company eagerly anticipates continued success and growth.
Danny Constantinis, EM&I Group Executive Chairman and CEO, said: “The growth of EM&I’s presence in Brazil reflects rising market demand and clients’ interest in our capabilities. Building on recent opportunities, achieved through a global team effort, we are now enhancing our local Brazilian capability as part of our global team.”
