Infineon and Polyn collaborate

Infineon Technologies and Polyn Technology have unveiled a new collaboration to produce the next generation of tyre monitoring products. As a result of the collaboration, Infineon will provide new-generation tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors with tyre vibration signal detection, leveraging Polyn’s neuromorphic front-end (NFE) for vibration data preprocessing at the sensor. The collaboration specifically targets the aftermarket and fleet segments and new data-as-a-service business models, as well as anticipating autonomous cars.
