History repeats itself for Danatronics - like fathers, like sons!

Danatronics has announced the signing of an exclusive sales agreement with Sofranel, France.

In the late 1960s, Dr Edmund Carnevale, then co-founder of  Panametrics, travelled to Paris to appoint Vladamir Husarek, then president of Sofranel, as Panametrics' exclusive agent for France. Since that time, Sofranel has remained the longest agent for Panametrics, now part of Olympus.

Dan Carnevale, son of Dr Edmund Carnevale and founder of Danatronics, has now signed an exclusive agreement with Pierre Husarek, son of Vladamir and current president of Sofranel. A statement from Danatronics Corp said: "We are very excited and pleased to be working with Sofranel again as our exclusive sales agent for our ultrasonic thickness gauge and video borescope product lines in France and North Africa. Their tremendous technical ability and professionalism combined with our unique and growing line of NDT equipment will make for a very powerful solution for customers demanding more personal attention. We hope to get back to our roots by offering a personal service that today's larger companies have moved away from."
