Oceanscan granted UKAS accreditation

Oceanscan Ltd has announced that its Calibration Laboratory, situated at Denmore Road, Aberdeen, has been officially accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). This prestigious mark of quality means that calibrations of all ultrasonic flaw detectors can now be carried out to the internationally recognised standard ISO/IEC 17025: 2005, one of the most rigorous in the industry.Not only does this accreditation ensure the highest level of competence and expertise required to undertake calibrations under the standard, it more importantly recognises Oceanscan’s underlying commitment to excellence in quality customer service throughout all operations.
The company is confident that with its robust continuous improvement plan already in place, additional products and technologies will soon be available within this scope of accreditation.
