A new chapter in the Karl Deutsch success story

As one of the first subsidiaries, the Italian company Ecomag has represented Karl Deutsch’s international cooperation for 40 years. The two companies have always been characterised by close cooperation and a shared success story. In order to meet the increasing demand on the Italian market and to further expand Karl Deutsch’s broad product portfolio, the cooperation was taken to a new level in March 2024: Ecomag will now be represented on the Italian market under the name Karl Deutsch Italy Srl.
The renaming of the company is accompanied by a reorganisation of the business. For the Italian site, this means spatial modernisation and refocusing. A new headquarters for administration and sales is being built in Cesate, west of Milan, Italy, while a new production facility is being set up in Pontecurone (Voghera), Italy.
As part of the reorganisation, the company is strengthening the management team around Sascha Rosenbaum and taking extensive market experience on board with Massimo Cadeddu as Director General and Vasyl Tomnyuk as Sales Manager. The team will safely lead the new Karl Deutsch Italy Srl through the structural change and offer its customers in Italy perfect Karl Deutsch service.
Despite these extensive changes, the company is proud that it has managed to retain many of its long-standing staff. As a traditional family business with 75 years of history, it sees its employees as an essential element for a successful future.
“Our customers can look forward to even better consultancy and state-of-the-art production on the Italian market,” said a spokesperson for the company.
Since its foundation in 1949, Karl Deutsch has been engaged in the development and manufacture of equipment for non-destructive material testing. Mobile testing devices, stationary testing systems, sensors and chemical crack detection media for ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection and penetrant testing are manufactured in two plants in Wuppertal, Germany.
