Materials Testing 2013, the most comprehensive international exhibition in testing for q
uality, materials testing, non-destructive testing, condition monitoring and diagnostic engineering, was this year held at the International Centre, Telford, UK. The exhibition presented a unique opportunity for Silverwing UK Ltd to promote its products and services and interface with prospective customers. Silverwing took the opportunity to present its latest technologies, including the new RMS ARC scanning head and V750 Vacuum Box.
Following on from the great success of the Materials Testing exhibition, Silverwing attended the TSA’s Conference, which was held at the E.On Lounge of the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK.
This exhibition is the UK’s leading event for the bulk liquid storage sector, with a proven track record of successfully bringing together people who care about safe and effective bulk liquid storage operations. This year was no exception.
The exhibition has more than doubled in size in previous years and featured more than sixty companies showcasing their bulk liquid storage industry-related products and services.
Silverwing demonstrated its Floormap3D with STARS technology, which is said to be the highest-performance magnetic flux leakage (MFL) storage tank inspection system on the market today. Also on display was Silverwing’s new V750 Vacuum leak detector. The V750 is designed to API 650/653 inspection standards. It incorporates a 750 mm weld inspection length, a complete new lighter body, calibrated vacuum gauge, internal LEDs to ensure correct visibility along the test weld and a new seal designed to maximise efficiency and reduce operator fatigue.
