12/10/2009
Aberdeen-based inspection company Inspectahire has announced that it has become the fifth partner in Joint Integrated Management Services (JIMS), which will see the company establish a presence in Australia.Inspectahire specialises in providing inspection technology and solutions to companies worldwide, and entering into this Australian alliance, with four other companies, confirms its commitment to international growth. It comes following an investment of over £150,000 in the business.
Cailean Forrester, Managing Director, told NDT News: "These are exciting times for Inspectahire. Entering the JIMS alliance in Australia will give us a substantial presence in a geographic area that we see as important to our growth. We are a progressive company. We have to be due to the technological developments which take place in the inspection industry. Our move into the Australasian market and our new corporate identity, which we are unveiling at OE 2009, reflect this.
"Our new logo, the magnifying glass and the first aid symbol, clearly reflects what we do. In the simplest sense, we look at things, either to keep them healthy or to help make them better. Our new positioning statement – Making a Visible Difference – illustrates that in words."
Inspectahire's rebrand includes new advertising styles, promotional material and a complete redesign of the Inspectahire website, which will be rolled out in the coming months.
In another development, Inspectahire has been appointed sole Scottish distributor of what is claimed to be the world's first ATEX certified digital camera with strobe flash that was recently launched by CorDEX Instruments.
Developed by North Yorkshire-based CorDEX Instruments, the Centurion XPG digital camera can be used safely within Zone 1 IIC T4 type G (vapour) hazardous areas. Fitted with a high-intensity strobe flash, the camera can capture high-quality still images in zero light environments.
"Safety is one of the biggest concerns in industry today and we are committed to minimising the risk personnel are exposed to. This product has clear safety benefits and can also save time and money as less site preparation is required. We are proud to be involved with this product and supporting a young British company," added Cailean Forrester.
