Wide temperature range piezoelectric pressure sensor

PCB Piezotronics (PCB) has introduced its new Model 112A06 wide temperature range charge output piezoelectric pressure sensor. The 112A06 was designed to complement the cryogenic and high-temperature pressure sensor line. It has an extremely wide operating temperature range from −240°C to 350°C.
Model 112A06 features a UHT-12 sensing element for more accurate, lower noise measurements at elevated temperatures, a wide temperature range from −240°C to 350°C, a resonant frequency >200 kHz and high sensitivity (2.6 pC/psi), as well as being acceleration compensated (0.01 psi/g).
The 112A06 has a hermetically sealed stainless steel design with a 17-4 housing and a 316L diaphragm and it terminates in a 10-32 jack electrical connector. The calibrated measurement range for the 112A06 is 5000 psi (and includes additional certification for 500 psi and 100 psi ranges), with a maximum rating of 15,000 psi.
Model 112A06 can be used for thermodynamic and thermoacoustic measurements, rocket motor testing, combustion dynamics, steam pipe monitoring, pressure pulsations on compressors and pumps and any high-temperature, dynamic pressure measurement.
