Mechanical design specialist joins Phoenix

Phoenix Inspection Systems has appointed Tony Price as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer working on bespoke testing equipment for use in industries including power generation, nuclear and aerospace.
Tony, who joins from consultancy Assystem UK, has over 30 years' experience in mechanical design. He began his career in the drawing office of a large cable manufacturer and worked as a designer in various companies, including BNFL, before spending 15 years at SGS Sonomatic, initially as a mechanical designer and later becoming manager of its mechanical design department. More recently he has worked for a variety of companies in the nuclear area, including Assystem UK, where he focused on design work for Rolls-Royce.Anthony says: "I look to a bright future, as I know that Phoenix has a strong proven track record and is well respected in the NDT and engineering industry generally."
