Lavender International flourishes

17/09/2013

A global leader in NDT training programmes, Lavender International is continuing to experience strong growth, with the recent addition of five new staff members.

Alison Glover will be joining the Advanced Ultrasonic (UT) Department, where she will work with the team to provide more courses in time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) and phased array (PA). Prior to joining Lavender International, Alison worked in Paris for a well-known electronics manufacturer.

Also joining the team will be John Paul Treweek, who has a broad experience in industry. John Paul has been appointed as a technical UT lecturer and will be based in the new Lavender ultrasonic training facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Sheffield.

Co-Managing Director Steve Lavender told NDT News: “Alison and John Paul’s vast industry knowledge and experience will be valuable to the continued growth of the company.”

As well as Alison and John Paul, Lavender International has also appointed three other staff members to join its Business Services team: Amy Schofield as a Level 3 services administrator; Sam Smallwood, who will join the accounts team; and Nadra Said, who will take on the new role as receptionist and general administrator.

“We’ve had a stellar start to 2013, however, we’re not about to sit back and relax – we are actively looking to employ two new technical staff who will hopefully be ready to start with us by the end of the summer,” said Steve Lavender.
