BES strengthens testing division with third acquisition of 2023

Rotech Laboratories, a leading materials testing laboratory based in the West Midlands, has joined British Engineering Services’ (BES) growing business to further strengthen its specialist Testing Division.
Adding Rotech to the BES Group will provide its customers with access to an enhanced testing solution and expand the group’s geographical spread of testing facilities around the UK.
The Rotech team is made up of more than 40 industry experts, all focused on the safety and legal compliance of its customers. It provides a wide range of specialist testing services, including hardness testing, weld testing, corrosion testing, impact testing and more, to help verify material quality and analyse the cause of machinery failures, for example.

Rotech is BES’s third acquisition of 2023, following Engineering Safety Inspection Services (ESIS) in May and Alliance Inspection, a specialist NDT solutions and fitness-for-service assessment provider in June. Ongoing growth, both organically and by acquisition, is key for the BES Group.
