A Junior Machinist is sought to work for a stable, well-established business. On offer is the opportunity to create a prosperous career within a growing company.
The role:
- Work on testing exotic materials for the defence and aerospace industries, conducting destructive and non-destructive testing
- Use bandsaws, computer numerical control (CNC) machines and grit blasters to prepare specimens for testing
- General maintenance of the machinery (training is provided).
The successful candidate will be employed for a Monday-Friday day-based role, offering flexibility in terms of working hours. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, including the option to work a four-day working week if preferred.
This is a good opportunity for a recent college leaver to kickstart their career in engineering.
The person:
- Experienced in reading engineering drawings
- Must possess a GCSE in maths.
