Junior NDT Technician

A magnetic particle inspection (MPI) and dye penetrant inspection (DPI)-qualified Junior NDT Technician is sought. This is a varied role with a company offering stability, free tickets to motorsport events and flexible working hours, providing a great work-life balance.

On offer is the chance to join an exciting and ambitious non-destructive testing (NDT) company that supplies the motorsport industry. Established in 2019, the company works with some of the biggest motorsport companies in the world, including multiple Formula 1 teams. The company is looking for a Junior NDT Technician to join a team of 16 people to help achieve its goal of being contracted to every motorsport company in the world.

In this role, the successful candidate will be conducting NDT on motorsport vehicle parts, as well as analysing and inspecting NDT test results. This is a workshop-based role, with occasional fieldwork around the UK a couple of times a month and international work a couple of times a year. UK fieldwork covers a patch from Leicester to the south coast and will not require any overnight stays. 

International fieldwork covers places such as Monaco, Lake Como, Italy and Miami, USA, where all expenses are paid for, including food and drink. The contracted hours are 40 hours per week, with flexibility for starting early or finishing late.

The role:

• NDT testing on motorsport components
• Analysing and inspecting NDT test results
• Occasional UK and international fieldwork.

Person specification:

• NDT Technician or similar
• MPI and DPI qualified
• Happy to commute around the UK and internationally.
