Quality Inspector

A Quality Inspector is sought to join an established fabrication and engineering business producing high-quality fabricated components, assemblies and specialist metalwork for a range of technical customers, including from the motorsport industry. Candidates should have experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or similar, ideally with a background of using FaroArm, non-destructive testing (NDT) or computerised maintenance management systems (CMMSs). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that parts meet the required quality standards, receiving support and training on CMMSs while working within a busy engineering environment focused on accuracy, inspection and continuous improvement. The company also offers training and a company bonus scheme.

In this varied role, the successful candidate will inspect parts and components, create inspection reports, use measuring equipment, support quality checks and record inspection activity through company systems. The successful candidate will work with FaroArm equipment, NDT processes, and CMMSs, while liaising with production and engineering teams to identify quality issues, support corrective actions and ensure that parts are produced to specification.

The role:

• Inspecting manufactured parts and fabricated components
• Creating quality reports using FaroArm, NDT, CMMSs and measuring equipment
• Training on CMMSs is available.

 The person:

• Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or similar experience
• Experience with FaroArm, NDT, CMMSs or engineering inspection
• Must live within a commutable distance to Thame.
