Workshop Operative

A Workshop Operative is sought to join a fast-growing and successful family-owned valve manufacturing team in Knutsford.

• Assemble and perform functional testing on valves manufactured from machined components
• Contribute to wider workshop activities, including packing, dispatch operations and non-destructive testing (NDT) processes
• Deliver work efficiently to consistently meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation within the workspace.

Requirements:

• Previous fitting and assembly experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided
• Reliability and a detail-oriented approach
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

The position requires 40 hours per week, working from 8.30 am-5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
