Phoenix Inspection Systems Limited
B7
Established in 1983, Phoenix Inspection Systems Limited will be using Materials Testing 2019 to market its range of ultrasonic NDT transducers, scanners and solutions.
A highlight of the display will be the Flexible Track Scanner (FTS) for the inspection of linear and circumferential welds on large-diameter cylinders. A single inspector can securely fix the two interlocking, lightweight, guide tracks to the component and, by successively alternating them along the full weld extent, a continuous inspection can be achieved. The track-mounted carriage assembly easily rotates to relocate the probe on the other side of the weld, with the track remaining fixed in position.

Also on display will be the Automated NozzleScan: a low-profile solution for nozzle weld inspection in both set-through and set-on configurations. This is available in two- and three-axis configurations with adjustable probe skew, often a critical requirement for inspecting many nozzles.
