The Korean Society for Nondestructive Testing (KSNT) was established in March 1980 for the purpose of facilitating academic research and promoting practical applications of NDT techniques. It aims to improve the level of NDT, evaluation and inspection techniques, promote camaraderie among its members and further contribute to industrial development. The society was recognised as an incorporated association by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) in June 1981. As of July 2021, the Society has 3722 members and 151 corporate members.
