Six-week prior to expiry requirement for revalidation of certification from 1 January 2023
BINDT is now reintroducing the six-week prior to expiry requirement for revalidation of certification via renewal or examination.

It is the responsibility of the certificate holder to initiate the procedure required for revalidation.

PSL/8A: Dated 1 October 2024

PSL/8A is revised at quarterly intervals and details the current status of all PCN published documents. It is circulated to personnel and organisations listed on document PSL/4 - holders of controlled PCN documents - under cover of a transmittal note.

Changes to a document's issue status are indicated by a vertical line in the left margin adjacent to the document concerned. Withdrawn documents should be destroyed or clearly marked on each page "WITHDRAWN" or "SUPERSEDED".

Any of the documents referenced herein, except those for PCN internal use, may be obtained from the Certification Services Division at the British Institute of NDT, and many of them may be obtained directly from any PCN Authorised Qualifying Body.

Revised, amended or re-issued documents will automatically be sent to members of the PCN Registered Update Scheme Holders and recipients of documents who do not subscribe to the PCN Registered Update Scheme are advised to check the status of any documents they hold before use www.bindt.org

PCN cannot be held responsible for the update of any documentation acquired outside of the update scheme.
