‘Diamond Award’ for innovative shearography solutions

At an official ceremony at the press centre of the Polish Ministry of Defense on 18 June 2015, Dantec Dynamics received a ‘Diamond Award’.Tomasz Rusin from Dantec Dynamics, together with the company’s local Polish distributor ITA, received the award for supplying a series of innovative shearography solutions to the Polish Union of Suppliers for Uniformed Services (SDNRSM). “It is really a great honour to receive a prize like this,” said Dr Tomasz Rusin, “and it will for sure open doors to other R&D centres, academies, aviation institutes and aircraft, helicopter, vehicle, drone and shipbuilding vendors, and manufacturers in general, supplying various kinds of equipment to the Polish armed forces.”
The prize – a diploma together with a statuette – is part of the ‘Leader of National Security’ programme promoting the most innovative and high-quality products and solutions to help enhance national security.
Most recently, Dantec Dynamics has delivered measurement solutions for the Air Force Institute of Technology and the Military University of Technology, both located in Warsaw. The shearography-based systems are used for testing new aircraft prototypes as well as aircraft already in operation. The jury of experts and scientists specially awarded Dantec Dynamics for its robustness, accuracy, flexibility, fast inspection time, ease of use, rugged design and field inspection possibilities.
The prize was handed over by Lech Konopka, Director of the Armed Forces Supervision Department of The National Security Bureau. A Q-800 shearography system was showcased for interested new parties after the official ceremony.
