Silverwing announces appointment of new Group Sales Director

Silverwing UK Limited has announced the appointment of Jim Costain as Group Sales Director. With over 25 years’ experience in the NDT industry, Jim brings valuable expertise to a fast-growing technology company that is looking to expand into new markets and bring new technology to the industry.
The appointment of Jim follows the move to new and improved premises in Swansea and the launch of a new range of ultrasonic equipment and software, complementing the existing world-class tank floor mapping and large area corrosion mapping systems.
Silverwing’s CEO Wayne Woodhead said: “Jim’s appointment is testimony to the success of Silverwing over the past few years. His knowledge of global markets and key relationships with important customers will help Silverwing’s expansion plans accelerate even faster.”
Jim joins Silverwing from GE, where he has spent the last 10 years in a variety of global management roles. Previously, he has worked for a number of leading NDT companies in both the UK and overseas.
