HSI-Lateral Wave adds key management and expands operations

Specialised NDT company HSI-Lateral Wave has announced the appointment of two senior managers to key positions in the company.Gary Luckett, a recognised authority in advanced NDT solutions, has joined the Technical and Business Development team of the company. Gary will be spearheading the pursuit of new business across all sectors of the NDT industry. Gary, a long-time Branch member of BINDT, will be active at industry trade organisations, including HOIS, which HSI-Lateral Wave will be joining in March of this year.
Gary will be supporting Technical Director Steve Traves in project management activities for current and future activities, both in the UK and on international assignments.
Building on its reputation for high-level professional NDT services, the company also announced in December the opening of its operational office in Aberdeen. The new facility, which is established to service the energy markets, both onshore and offshore, will be managed by Kevin Fraser, long-time NDT Engineer and Service Manager. Kevin will be the local point of contact for all operational and technical functions for the company and will be supported by head office operations and technical resources.
Commenting, company CEO Brian Shannon said that the appointment of Gary and Kevin, together with the expanded operation in Aberdeen, continues the company’s commitment to the UK market as a base not only for domestic markets but for international projects as well. The well-recognised pool of technical and management personnel based in the UK fits well with the company vision for high-level professional NDT service offerings, noted Shannon.
HSI-Lateral Wave is part of HSCAN International, Inc (HSI), based in Los Angeles. Also part of the company is HSI-COMADA, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
