TCS partners with SAP

India-based IT services and consulting firm Tata Consultancy Services (TSC) has partnered with SAP to develop Intelligent Rail Digital Maintenance (iRDM), which is powered by SAP Leonardo.This solution is intended to help rail customers to digitally transform their businesses.
Leveraging the latest technologies, such as advanced analytics, big data, drones, machine learning, the Internet of Things and mobility components of SAP Leonardo, TCS’s iRDM solution aids in carrying out drone-based safety inspections. It also helps in conducting predictive maintenance and stopping component failures by remotely monitoring the condition of all asset classes, including rolling stock, tracks, structures and wayside equipment.
The digital asset maintenance functionality can integrate with the enterprise asset management processes of rail customers.
This solution also helps to reduce unplanned outages and reduce capital investments on equipment, enhance efficiency and boost safety.
