Waygate Technologies expands portfolio with new inspection robotics unit

Waygate Technologies (WT), a world leader in industrial inspection solutions, has announced that it is expanding its product and services portfolio to include a new robotics unit. The new Waygate Technologies Robotics team is staffed by former experts from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich) and leading developers of mobile inspection robots for large-scale facilities in the fields of power generation and industrial processing.Based on long-term strategies, WT will further unlock the potential of its non-destructive testing (NDT) business with the new robotics capabilities. WT offers the broadest portfolio of high-performance industrial X-ray and computed tomography (CT), visual and ultrasonic inspection solutions on the market. With the robotics unit, WT will strengthen its automated data capture capabilities for NDT and Industry 4.0 demands in various application areas.
