Lavender International welcomes technical employee for Australia office

At the end of April 2014, Lavender Australia welcomed its first technical employee, who joins Administration Manager Catherine Fleay, who started at the Malaga, Perth, office six months ago.Warren Villarosa has six years of NDT experience, holds AINDT Level 2 certificates in MT, PT, UT and RT and will be an important part of the growing Lavender office in Australia. As part of his training programme, Warren agreed to spend his first three months at the Lavender UK offices in Penistone, to be trained in all aspects of the Lavender quality systems and training and examination programmes.
His training schedule is progressing well and a number of events have been arranged, including some social evenings where he can meet with many of the other 50 Lavender staff and get to know them outside of work.
Warren returns to Australia at the end of July, where he will work with the Lavender staff to consolidate the Malaga facility and, going forward to 2015, will look at expanding the availability of courses there.
