Ionix appoints new leadership team

Ionix has appointed new leadership positions, effective from 1 April 2022, to support its next phase of growth. The company’s board of directors has appointed Co-Founder Tim Stevenson and Operations Director Steve Holding as joint Managing Directors.
Tim has over a decade of experience with the use of industrial sensors in challenging environments and has previously served as Development Director, with responsibility for technology and product development since Ionix’s incorporation. Focusing on the external-facing activities of the business, Tim will retain responsibility for product development and lead the sales and marketing strategy.
Steve brings a wealth of production management experience and will retain responsibility for the internal operations and production activities to support the company’s growth in both capacity and capability.
The new leadership, supported by Ionix Chair Ian Williamson, reflects the strategic importance of Ionix’s increasing global customer interaction and its growth ambitions.
David Astles, outgoing CEO, remains as an Executive Advisor to support the continuing growth.
The executive team with Tim and Steve consists of Nadim Borini, recently appointed into the new role of Sales Director, Tim Comyn (Technical Director) and Will Vickers (Product Director).
