New Vice President appointed for FlawTech

FlawTech, a world leader in flaw specimen manufacturing technology based in Concord, North Carolina, USA, providing flawed specimens to the global NDT industry, has announced the appointment of Ricky L Morgan as its new Vice President.Ricky is a US Army veteran and a College of Oceaneering graduate with over 30 years of experience in providing NDT inspections to the amusement park, construction, infrastructure, marine, petrochemical and power industries. He holds ASNT NDT Level III certification in magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) and is a certified welding inspector through the American Welding Society (AWS). He brings a very diverse body of knowledge to the company. Ricky will be working with President John Turner and the FlawTech staff, as required, in all phases of client relations, marketing, quality assurance, research & development and, of course, the NDT and inspection programme.
Ricky’s dedication and service to the NDT community is evident through the recognition he has received and the many awards he has won, some of which are the ASNT Lou DiValerio Technician of the Year, Fellow, Mentoring and Phillip D Johnson Honorary Member awards.
He is a current member of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), the American Welding Society and the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) – North American Branch.
