What is new in infrared training?

Its Level 1 course, for example, has now been condensed into four days instead of five, a move that is already proving popular for time-pressured students. Both Level 1 and Level 2 ITC courses are approved by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) and are PCN-ready.
A Premium Level 1 training package is another new addition. As well as receiving a FLIR TG165 imaging spot meter, Premium students receive a free subscription to ITC on training and ITC InfraMation conference proceedings, to provide ongoing technical and applications support.
For Level 1 certificate holders, there are now also three separate two- or three-day training modules: Advanced Electrical, Advanced Mechanical and Advanced Buildings.
Free webinars have been introduced into the ITC mix for the coming months. They cover a variety of subjects and are already proving extremely popular, with more than 600 people participating in the most recent live introduction to thermography. One-day introductory sessions are once again a feature of the training programme, but they now include specific courses on general thermography, electrical fault-finding, building science and photovoltaic inspection. These courses are being held at venues throughout the UK and Ireland but can also be arranged on-site, if required. Details on all of the options are available at: www.irtraining.eu
