North Star Imaging technical day in association with Volume Graphics and Instron

15/10/2018

North Star Imaging UK has announced that its planned Technical Day will be held on Thursday 8 November 2018.

NSI UK has been successfully operating in the UK for over three years and wants to share the benefits of its industrial X-ray imaging services with those who have yet to see its facility and experience its equipment’s full capabilities in real time.

NSI UK is located within Instron’s European Headquarters in High Wycombe. The company offers advice and support for existing and new customers, as well as providing X-ray imaging services with both digital radiography and computed tomography capabilities.

NSI will also be joined by representatives from Volume Graphics, who will provide valuable insights into the essential role of CT in digital product lifecycle management and the impressive capabilities of their latest CT software package, VGSTUDIO MAX 3.2. This high-end software has the ability to carry out post-processing tasks such as dimensional metrology, CT to CAD comparison, porosity, inclusion, defect and fibre material analyses, simulation on voxel data and much more. Hence, if you are already a VG user or just interested in discovering what VGSTUDIO MAX 3.2 can do for you, then this is a great chance to speak directly with VG experts and see how Volume Graphics software can really boost the performance of your NSI CT scanner.

For those also interested in materials testing, Instron UK will be happy to demonstrate its equipment and discuss any applications relating to tensile, compression and torsional testing.

This year, NSI UK will be joined by its largest customer, JLR. The company purchased an X5000 CT system just over two years ago and will be providing an insight into the system they have and the typical applications it is used for.

The Technical Day will run from 10 am to 4 pm. If you are interested in attending, please contact gtolley@4nsi.com to indicate the number of your attendees.
