AOS/TPAC appoint UK sales agent

The Phased Array Company (TPAC) has appointed Dr Annabel Dance as its Sales Agent for the UK. TPAC is a premier provider of advanced ultrasonic hardware for phased array (PA), full matrix capture (FMC) and multi-channel conventional ultrasonic testing (UT) inspections. Extremely small in size, with top-of-the-range performance and field-rugged design, the products are said to be ideal for integration with scanners, robotics, immersion tanks, gantry systems and many other applications. TPAC also offers a host of total focusing method (TFM) imaging features, including adaptive techniques for correcting uneven surfaces, as well as perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI), complete wavefield imaging (CWI), diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and more. All of this is carried out with very high data transfer rates, ultimately increasing inspection speed. Annabel will be offering TPAC’s complete hardware and software portfolio, tailored to the needs of the customer.Formerly a trainer and examiner for the South West School of NDT and an Advanced Research Engineer in the NDT department of the National Composites Centre (NCC), Annabel has also worked with IRIS in tube inspection and scanning acoustic microscopy. Annabel said: “I am really excited to be working with such great ultrasonic kit, and with a lovely bunch of people too, and I am hoping this will be well used in Industry 4.0 applications in all engineering sectors.”
