Bosch Sensortec releases new longevity programme

07/10/2020

Bosch Sensortec has announced it is launching a longevity programme. The company is doing so to help meet the needs of industrial applications.

As part of the programme, the company is offering the BMI090L Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the BMA490L accelerometer and the BMP390L barometric pressure sensor.

The IMU, which was developed for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) application, features vibration robustness and temperature stability.

The BMA490L is an acceleration sensor targeting both IIoT and logistics applications. It offers low noise and low offset, making it suitable for predictive maintenance, asset tracing and vibration monitoring. Its current consumption is reduced to 14 µA in the low-power operation mode.

The BMP390L barometric pressure sensor offers a temperature stability usually around ±0.6 Pa/K and a typical relative accuracy of ±0.03 hPa. The company suggests that this sensor is suitable for use cases such as water level detection, asset tracking and navigation.
