With the new Everest Mentor Flex VideoProbe™, the company is offering the leading design, durability and image quality of its premium flagships at a mid-range price level. The new high-value low-maintenance borescope is designed for everyday use in a variety of industries, including the highly regulated aviation and energy sectors.
Equipped with high-power steering motors and all-way articulation, the Everest Mentor Flex VideoProbe guarantees visibility in every direction, including hard-to-reach inspection parts. The industry-leading light output and proven TrueSight™ image quality in combination with a large wide extended graphics array (WXGA) liquid crystal display (LCD) touchscreen helps to detect flaws even in dark places and improves the probability of detection.
A wide range of probe diameter and length options and a variety of optical tip adapters make the high-performance borescope adaptable to any use case in remote visual inspection.
To streamline the data analysis and decision-making process and to reduce downtime, the Everest Mentor Flex offers wireless connectivity that allows for wireless video streaming, data transfer to iOS devices and software updates.
Modern features such as menu-directed inspection (MDI) also make everyday inspection easier and help to improve process efficiency at every level, from intelligently auto-tagging images to auto-generating reports. The Everest Mentor Flex’s virtual keyboard enables faster annotation, while its multi-point touchscreen provides an intuitive gesture-based user interface.
