Pexa to exhibit at MT 2017 with supply partners Sherwin Babbco and Spectronics Corporation

Established in 2002, Pexa Ltd is a supplier of materials to the NDT industry. It will be using Materials Testing 2017 to market its ranges of NDT materials from Sherwin Babbco (Socomore NDT) and Spectroline. These materials include dye penetrants, magnetic particle inspection materials, test panels, UV lights and meters, tools and consumables. The level of NDT expertise on stand A13 will be maximised as technical representatives from Pexa, Sherwin Babbco and Spectronics Corporation will be present.September 2016 saw a development in Pexa’s NDT business with the expansion of its team. John Haslam was appointed to provide technical support to customers in the north of the UK. He came from a background of liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection and hardness and conductivity testing and brought with him an excellent working knowledge of the industry. Matt Lowthian was appointed NDT Business Manager to allow Pexa to provide a more thorough service to its NDT customers.
Pexa will be showcasing the Sherwin Babbco range of dye inspection penetrants, magnetic particle inspection fluids and ultrasonic consumables. It will be available to discuss the range of products mentioned above as well as training, installation, technical support and photographic/calibration services. These products are approved by governing agencies worldwide, such as ASME and ASTM, as well as prime aerospace contractors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Visible penetrants are also widely used in the welding and nuclear power industries.
In addition to the Sherwin Babbco range of NDT products, Pexa will also be using Materials Testing 2017 to showcase the Spectroline® range of UV lights and meters. Spectronics Corporation is a world leader in ultraviolet technology and its UV-A lights have been proven ideal for fluorescent inspection, detecting and identifying surface and subsurface flaws, as well as visual liquid penetrant and magnetic particle inspection applications. The Spectroline range is a full line of high-intensity LED inspection lamps designed to meet the growing demands of the non-destructive testing industry.
