Foerster expands global presence with new subsidiary in Turkey

Foerster, a global leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies, has announced the establishment of its 17th subsidiary, Foerster Turkey, in Istanbul at the end of 2024. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Foerster’s ongoing strategy to enhance customer support and strengthen its presence in key markets worldwide.
For many years, Foerster has served its Turkish customers through a distributor. However, recognising the growing importance of Turkey’s strategic industries, including oil & gas, steel, metalworking, automotive, aerospace and defence, Foerster is investing in a local subsidiary to better serve these sectors. The new Foerster Turkey office, located on the Asian side of Istanbul, will provide more direct access to Foerster’s advanced solutions and services for the region.

With extensive experience in the Turkish NDT market, Yücel brings a wealth of expertise and leadership that will be instrumental in guiding Foerster Turkey’s operations and ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service.
Foerster Turkey will offer a full range of services, including installation, commissioning, training and ongoing service and maintenance. This local presence will allow Foerster to respond more quickly to customer needs and provide tailored support, further solidifying its position as a trusted partner to Turkish industries.
