AGR at the 10th ECNDT in Moscow

“After the huge success we realised at the 9th ECNDT (European Conference for NDT) in Berlin in 2008, our concern was whether the 10th ECNDT in Moscow would live up to our high expectations.” So said Jackie Berry, Sales & Marketing Manager of AGR Technology Design.“Owing to the complex visa procedures, cost implications and challenging logistics of shipping equipment to Russia, we decided that we would use the resources of our local distributor, Ekolink,” she continued. “They had already secured a booth and could provide some locally-based equipment, local knowledge and bridge any language barriers.”
With Jackie Berry and applications advisor Mark Nel in attendance, AGR was well positioned to offer
on-site support to the complete spectrum of prospective visitors.
Jackie went on: “Prior to the show there was much internal speculation about how the show would take shape in terms of potential clients from Europe; ultimately the proportion of international and European visitors to our booth was somewhat less than regional visitors. It was interesting that a significant number of regional companies manufacturing advanced ultrasonic products and offering on-site services were represented as exhibitors. The visitors that we met were eager for information on both products and applications.“We are now looking forward to the 11th ECNDT in Prague in 2014,” concluded Berry.
