Hermann Rosen Award launched to empower next-generation energy innovators

The Rosen Group has announced the launch of the Hermann Rosen Award for Pipeline Innovation, a new global honour administered by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Foundation and fully funded by Rosen. This US$25,000 (approximately £18,500) annual prize recognises bold, breakthrough ideas in pipeline and transportation engineering, reflecting Rosen’s enduring commitment to innovation and education.
Named after Rosen Founder Hermann Rosen, entrepreneur, engineer and inventor, the award celebrates technical creativity and social responsibility. By directly funding the prize, Rosen is investing in the future of engineering and reinforcing its mission to nurture the next generation of scientific and technical leaders.

Open to students, early-career professionals and established engineers alike, the award invites submissions that range from concept to prototype.
